Anniversaries

Today, Kyle and I celebrate our 2nd anniversary! I know! It blows my mind that it's actually been 2 years. In so many ways it feels like yesterday and in other ways it feels like we've always been married. Married life is awesome and we couldn't be happier.

Sunshine and Happy Days

So, the weather has been beautiful in Portland for pretty much the last month. We've had more sunshine than we know what to do with. I planted some flowers and herbs and I've actually had to water them to keep them alive. Imagine, in Oregon, having to actually water your plants. Any way, it's be delightful weather. Of course, working inside 10 hours a day it kinda stinks, but I do get out for 30 min. during lunch time to go for a walk and I think my skin is catching some rays and isn't quite so pastey white. And, being summer, it's light later, so I have time to be outside when I get home from work, too, so that is very nice. My bonus 3 day weekend every weekend is a definate bonus so that I have 3 full days to be outside, it's wonderful. I can hardly stand to do anything inside when t's so nice outside!

23rd Birthday

Friday was my 23rd birthday, and yes, I'm getting old. What can I say? It was a very good day, though. For my birthday lunch Kyle took me to ToDai, which is a Japanese restraunt and it was super yummy. Friday night we had a party with us and 6 friends. It was a murder mystery dinner party. The theme was Roman Ruins, so we all got to dress up in tunics and togas. We had a fabulous time and I must say a very good birthday. Oh yeah, and Kyle bought me a yellow cake with bevarian cream filling and chocolate frosting. YUM!
